I recently traveled to BA in July to visit my brother who is studying there a little outside the city in a Bible Institute called Palabra de Vida (Word of Life). Despite the lostness of these people, it is encouraging to see how God is moving in churches around the providence of Buenos Aires. I agree completely that the church has to revamp the way it thinks about doing missions in the 21st century. The best and brightest and most influential people are in the urban cities. They will most likely have the biggest effect on the future of the country and I believe it is important to target that. University students are virtually unreached in BA as far as I could tell while I lived there. They are steeped in nominal Catholicism and/or relativism covered with a nice apathy blanket. It will take the church's wholehearted obedience to the call God has placed on it to reach these people with the patience, love, sincerity and boldness that is needed to open and break their hearts. I believe that God has given the church everything it needs to fulfill the mission of God. We must take His mission seriously and take a dare on Him to carry out that which He has clearly proclaimed to be Him will. <BR/>"His hand is not short that it cannot save."<BR/>Viva Argentina!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3252892338758893813.post-55720769666821639572008-09-25T07:58:00.000-07:002008-09-25T07:58:00.000-07:00Dude!
